Today’s Live Stream – Daily Life. We will talk about daily routines using general expressions and specific expressions. General expressions: always/ usually / often / sometimes / occasionally / hardly ever / never. Question forms for these general expressions can be – How often do you ___? The reply would be – I always ___, for example. We will also practice specific expressions – Do you get up early? We would then answer with a yes or no. We will also breakdown the sounds of the word – thirteen. We will practice all its component sounds – th / ir / t / ee / n. I think it will be fun and good practice. Academic Word List. Today’s academic word is: “area” (noun) – a region or part of a town, a country, or the world English Tenses – Present Progressive – be (am/are/is) + base form + ing. Key words – now/ at the moment / look! / listen! We use the present progressive when something is happening at the same time of speaking about it. We also use it for future plans and dates, when we have already decided. As always, I will take a picture of the whiteboard so that you can take a closer look after watching the live stream today.
