When comparing things we use these adjectives, but we need to change them – one syllable adjectives need an er ending / y adjectives change to ier / more than one syllable uses more or less. We will look at these topics: sports, pets, dishes, seasons, pastime. We will practice these question forms: which (…) do you think is better, (…) or (…)? What’s your opinion on (…)? What do you think about (…)? Fashion Trends (What’s hot and what’s not?): bold, casual, chic, classic colorful, conservative. Patterns: I think ____is/are in fashion. So do I. _____ is /are very popular. I don’t think so. ____ is/are not popular any more. Conversation – A: Wow! You look very trendy. B: Thanks. Long boots are hot this season. A: Well, I must look out-dated in my ankle boots. B: I don’t think so. They are still popular. A: But these are last year’s style. I must buy a new pair of boots.
