A glass container containing dilute sulphuric acid (H2SO4) b. Two metal plates are immersed (dipped) in the diluted sulphuric acid, one of them is copper (positive pole) and the other is zinc (negative pole).  The direction of the passage of the electric current in the wire : The electric current passes from positive copper plate (+) to negative zinc plate (-).
